After a while it comes up this the message that I need to copy or back up by files because Time Machine won't work (I can't remember the exact wording). If it doesn't show up, click Apple icon and select 'Sleep'.Having problems with my external hard drive connecting with the Mac. Plug the USB which is not showing up to your Mac computer. Press Command+Option+Esc keys to close all applications that are not responding. Restart Mac computer, press the Command +Option+P+R keys until the Apple logo appears.Restart your computer and insert/plugin your passport again into PC. Open its properties and then open drivers, simply uninstall it, come out unplug your passport drive. That would be the only place you can see your passport visible. Is the WD My Passport hard drive compatible.
